Making up work:
1. Daily work
a. For excused absences, please check with your director when you return for missed work. This will usually make up the absence.
b. For unexcused absences, you will be required to make up the time you missed in rehearsal. That means 90 minutes after or before school for one absence.
2. Concerts
a. To make up a concert, whether excused or unexcused, you will be required to perform the concert or portion of the concert in class at a time set by your director. You will be allowed to ask students from your ensemble to perform with you. The rest of the ensemble will be your audience.
b. The director will use an ensemble performance scoring guide to rate/grade your performance and this grade will be used to make up the missed concert
3. All other missed work
a. All other missed work will be made up in a timely manner as mutually determined by the director and student.
